Bristol Myers Squibb has historically treated its annual report as more than a regulatory obligation. Beyond SEC-mandated financial disclosure, the report functions as a carefully crafted editorial object—one that communicates scientific progress, human impact, and the company’s purpose through design, narrative, and image.
Since 2015, I have shaped the visual language of these annual reports from concept to production. My role spans the full creative lifecycle: developing multiple cover design studies, defining interior page systems, and establishing typography styles that balance clarity, authority, and warmth. Each edition is designed to guide readers fluidly between financial content, scientific innovation, and patient stories—without visual or tonal disconnect.
I curate and art-direct photography to reinforce the narrative, ensuring that imagery feels human, authentic, and aligned with the brand’s evolving voice. On the production side, I lead press checks to safeguard color accuracy, paper selection, and overall print quality—translating design intent into a tactile, premium final piece.
In parallel, I collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, in-house IT, and development teams to adapt the print experience into a digital magazine. This process involves rethinking layout, pacing, and interaction while preserving the editorial integrity of the original design—resulting in a cohesive, platform-agnostic storytelling experience.
