We were in DC (D Capital) this week doing what normal tourists do in our nation’s capital. Except this time, we’ve come to the realization that in close to a decade of visiting Washington year after year, we’ve done everything and anything there is to do in that town. Ok maybe we exaggerate. Maybe we [...] Read more »

Aside from exposure and composition, there are two, yes only TWO criteria that in my opinion makes for an excellent photo. Write this down. White Balance and Sharpness. Keep these two under tight control and you’re on your way to better photos.

I would like to apologize to my three readers for the lack of any read-worthy posts lately. Summer is a hectic time of the year add to this the fact that we’ve recently launched a new site that’s taking a tremendous amount of our attention. But you know me, I’m always on the lookout for [...] Read more »

I really love shooting night/indoor events like concerts, plays and the like. As a photographer, you feel like all the lights have been prepared beforehand for you and all you need to do is show up and capture the moments. I was fortunate enough to have been invited by our community theater to capture [...] Read more »

Here’s another reason why I love living in Metuchen…Plays in the Park! It’s right in our backyard (so to speak). The wonderful, talented and dedicated people of Plays in the Park kicked off their 2010 season with the Musical 1776 Wednesday night. And Metuchen Living was there front and center. What a wonderful fun [...] Read more »

By Rick Reilly via ESPN.com We live in a world where Peyton Manning walks off the Super Bowl field without shaking anybody’s hand. Where Tiger Woods leaves the Masters without a word of thanks to the fans or congratulations to the winner. Where NFL lineman Albert Haynesworth kicks a man’s helmetless head without a [...] Read more »
