Two of my three readers (including myself) just reminded me that I still have a blog to update. So here’s an update for you, at the eve of the last of day of filing your tax returns to Uncle Sam. Fortunately I don’t have to rush to get to the post office by midnight tonight because I already filed my taxes last week. And I have the copy of the check I paid to Uncle Sam to prove it. Darn. Yes I am one of those poor souls who has to pay more taxes instead of getting a refund. There goes that 42 inch LCD TV screen. And to think there are the Volvo XC90 and the BMW 7 series that stares at me whenever I pass them on my route to and from work. Sigh. On the flip side, it was a good financial year, thanks iPod stocks.
Summer and warm weather has been on my mind lately. I can’t wait for summer so I decided to declare this spring, summer. So, we paid our pool fees, dusted our beach chairs, oiled our bike chains and bought new flip-flops. I imagine this will be a busy summer for my family. So many places to go so little tme. But the weather has been just oh so wonderful that past couple of days I’ll rty not to complain too much, besides there really is so much to be thankful for.
