It was inevitable. Above is my new PSP charging. This playstation definitely has the wow factor especially when watching movies with the included sampler disc. The image/screen is just amazing to look at. Crisp and colors are stunning. It’s so easy to connect to a computer too. Simply plug it in a USB port, in this case, to my powerbook. Then select USB connection on the PSP. The memory stick shows up on the desktop and you’re ready to copy files like mp3s, mpgs and jpgs. I was somewhat waiting for a problem, it was a pleasant surprise how easy it was. Playing music mp3s is also a delight. The sound is crisp when using the included earphones. Bass is sufficient and high frequencies are crisp and clear. You won’t find the extra controls like what you’d find in an iPod. But the easy setup and sound quality more than makes up for the lack of extra controls. The battery comes with some charge, enough for my daughter to play her Ape Escape on the Loose game in the car on the way home. I’m looking forward to playing my first game, Tiger Woods PGA Tour. The included headphones looks strikingly similar to the very popular iPod buds. Overall, I think I’m going to love playing with this new toy. I would also like to see more movies out in UMD (Universal Media Disc). Finally an alternative to the standard DVD. It remains to be seen how this new format will be recieved by Hollywood. I’m sure a UMD video player is in our future.  Posted by Hello
